Press Release: Oxan Energy is happy to announce to be qualified to participate in a floating offshore wind project in Estonia, thanks to its partner Snow BV.
The project, called Saare 1 (“islands” in Estonian):
- has a potential capacity of around 900 MW
- has a water depth up to 85 meters
- is located 60 km off the coast of the largest Estonian island, Saaremaa
- has a surface area of 88 km2
The auction will take place in January. The awarded bidder will conduct an environmental impact assessment.
