Temporary Suspension of Certifications of International Standard for Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001

Press Release: Panasonic Industry Co., Ltd. (“PID”) announced that the company received a notification from LRQA Limited, a registered certification body for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), that the ISO 9001 certifications of its Ise Plant (Tamaki-cho, Watarai-gun, Mie Prefecture) were
temporarily suspended on December 13, 2024. This action is related to the findings of the external investigation committee concerning quality irregularities in mechanical relay products, which were announced in the report titled "Investigation Results on Quality Irregularities by the External Investigation Committee and Endeavors Taken at PID", dated November 1, 2024.

PID takes this action seriously and will make every effort to promptly lift the suspension of the certifications.
