FC Barcelona continues to be committed to the equality and inclusion of women in sport, and this time it does so with the creation of a women's team within its eSports structure. As confirmed by Jordi Guarte, head of eSports of the club, this initiative will materialize during 2025, marking another step in the growing presence of women in the world of competition. Although it is still to be confirmed in which video game this new team will compete, the inclusion project of the women's team aims not only to compete in the main international tournaments, but also to create a benchmark within this sector, showing Barça's commitment to diversity and gender equality in the sports field.
